Understand XMLTV program guides
Understand XMLTV program guides with practical Screen TV checks and next steps for your device or playlist.
Screen TV does not provide IPTV subscriptions, channels or copyrighted content. Users must provide their own legally authorized content sources.
How XMLTV maps programs
XMLTV describes channels and programs using channel identifiers and times. The guide identifier must correspond to the identifier used for that channel by the playlist.
Check import support
Use a separate XMLTV URL only where the installed Screen TV edition supports it. Otherwise use the guide integration supplied with your source. This website does not provide an XMLTV feed.
Keep the guide current
Ask the feed owner about update frequency, coverage and any access token. Old data or mismatched identifiers can produce an empty guide even when the XML document loads.
