What is an M3U playlist?
M3U is a text playlist containing media locations and, often, channel names and groups. A playlist URL points to that list; it is not a subscription or a guarantee that the listed streams will play.
Play a playlist
Install Screen TV, add the full playlist URL in playlist management, save and refresh. Use a URL supplied by a source you are authorized to access. A URL can contain private credentials.
M3U, M3U8 and guide data
M3U8 uses UTF-8 text encoding. It may describe a channel list or an HLS stream with media segments. EPG information usually comes from a separate XMLTV source or provider integration.
Does Screen TV provide channels or playlists?
No. Screen TV is a media player. You supply your own legally authorized playlist or content-provider login.
How do I check whether my device is compatible?
Choose the edition for your operating system and check its listing on the device. Availability, codecs and features can vary by model, software version and region.
