Keep the complete URL
Copy the playlist URL from your authorized source, including its protocol, port and query parameters. Trailing spaces or truncated credentials can make a valid playlist fail.
Save to the intended device
Sign in to playlist management, select the correct device and add the source. Save and refresh the player. Do not replace a playlist before checking which device is selected.
Check an empty channel list
Ask the source owner whether the URL returns a channel playlist and whether the account is active. A direct video URL or an HLS manifest is not necessarily a list of channels.
